using a VPN to bypass censorship in Quebec – Bill 59

It’s where Kafka meets Orwell’s 1984, all I can say is, I am lucky not to be in Quebec, and I guess this is what they voted for.

Despite warnings from real human rights groups and freedom of speech advocates, it looks like they have gone full fascist and Bill 59 will become law shortly, lets hope it does not spread, sadly it can’t be reversed, because once enforced, to even oppose it would probably be considered hate speech …

Setup your own VPN server

VPN offer far more security than the proxy servers which most people are used to using, when using commercial paid for services proxy server accounts are normally much cheaper and simpler to set-up for the client which is their only benefits over VPNs.

UK – The Computer Misuse Act 1990 Amended to include Life Sentence

As of today 3rd May 2015, The Computer Misuse Act 1990 has been amended to include a life sentence in section 7
